Announcement: Inaugural Alumni Advisory Board

 In Announcements, News

On March 28, 2019, the Hofstra Law Review announced the establishment of the inaugural Alumni Advisory Board at its first Board meeting in midtown Manhattan. The Advisory Board is designed to help build stronger relations among the Law Review’s esteemed alumni and current membership. The Board is composed of two members from each of the five decades of the Law Review’s existence, and is headed by Chairperson, Mr. Spencer Klein (Editor-in-Chief, Vol. 17). It is our hope that this diverse group, which represents a wide range of perspectives and experience, will help propel the Hofstra Law Review to new heights.

Specifically, the Advisory Board serves three purposes. First, the Advisory Board serves as a valuable resource to help attract distinguished authors by reaching out to contacts in various cutting-edge areas of law. Second, the Advisory Board provides insight as to how to best strengthen our community. Third, the Advisory Board assists the Law Review’s leadership in raising funds for activities, including organizing symposia and events to promote networking among our alumni and journal membership.
