Letter From the Vol. 47 Editor-in-Chief
I am honored to introduce myself as the Editor-in-Chief for Volume 47 of the Hofstra Law Review. This past year, we focused on maintaining a high quality and volume of legal scholarship and continuing to build lasting relationships with our alumni. For instance, we created the Alumni Advisory Board for the Law Review, which serves as a cornerstone in fostering existing and creating new alumni relations with the journal. Another initiative we focused on is our environmental impact. Starting with Volume 47, Issue 3, we started using a recycled paper blend in our hard copies. To celebrate this, we published a special environmental issue headlined by an article on the EPA’s Clean Power Plan.
Through these changes, the purpose of our journal remains the furtherance of excellent legal scholarship (a goal now formally incorporated in our bylaws). We elected a fantastic Volume 48 board that is continuing this tradition. It is my privilege to have served.
Sincerely,
Hunter Blain
